Add a contact form to your WordPress site
Whether you are using WordPress for your personal blog, using it to run your buisness or church, making sure your visitors can contact you easily is essential. If you publish your e-mail address on your site, you will quickly find your inbox filling up with junk e-mails, so you need a way that protects you from the spammers. The solution is to use a contact form and for that you need a plugin.
I have tried a number of contact form plugins for WordPress, and have settled on Contact Form 7 as being a particular effective and flexible option. You can use to create a number of customised forms that can be inserted into posts and pages using a generated code.Install the plugin in the usual way and activate. Then create a new form or edit the default one. Copy the code and paste it into your post, page or text widget content.
To use the CAPTCHA option you will also need to install the Really Simple CAPTCHA plugin.
You may find the options for this plugin a little intimidating at first, but it has proved to be the most flexible and reliable option for a contact form.
